We are looking for Customer Support Representative (UK) Temporary Contract – Maternity Cover 19th October 2009 until 26th February 2010 Part-time 12 to 5pm, Mon to Thursday. 12 to 4pm Friday. Based Didcot, Oxfordshire You will be responsible for processing and booking orders from scientific/government funded customers for lasers for both sales and service departments The role will involve the following duties

 Being the initial point of contact in the Newport Spectra-Physics Sales Office for both Customer and sales staff, liaising customers and staff as necessary.

 Receiving incoming calls/orders for the sales department by phone fax an e-mail

 Promptly and accurately entering sales orders onto the SAP system to achieve the commercial targets of the business.

 Monitor the progress of orders, to ensure a timely delivery to clients in order to achieve customer satisfaction.

 Responding to customers enquiries.

The right candidate will have experience of a customer service role. Order processing and invoice experience is a plus. You need to be a confident team player with the ability to work within a sometimes high pressure environment. You have experience in working with an ERP-system, ideally SAP and will be competent in using Microsoft Office packages with a good command of Word, Excel and Outlook.
